Methodology
I am an easy going person who knows math to be beautiful and I want you to see math as beautiful as well.
I have experience with one-on-one tutoring and teaching up to thirty students at a time.
As a tutor I think of myself as a coach providing encouragement with a gentle push when needed.
My methodology is to help students understand the concept and let the student practice while giving constant feedback on progress towards mastery.
Background
I have experience teaching sixth grade math, science, and social studies for five years and seventh grade math for two years. Within this seven year span I have taught hundreds of kids, all of whom I love. I also have been giving private math lessons to two high school students for two years. The number one thing students gain with me as their teacher is confidence and an appreciation for math that they previously didn't have.
