About Emma
In 2018 I completed a 12 month exchange to the north of Germany. At the beginning of the year I knew only how to say Kartoffel and left being able to hold fluent conversations with peers and fully understand films.

It is important to be immersed in a language when learning it and thus I will speak with and direct students in German as much as possible. Additionally I will encourage students to ask questions and foster an environment where they feel comfortable speaking in German even if mistakes are made. Depending on the student's needs I can organise work to go over during the tutor session or the student may bring with them homework or tasks they wish to have help with - just let me know in advance!
