About Katherine
I worked for years as a foreign correspondent across several French-speaking regions, reporting before eventually shifting into full-time private teaching using everything that reporting work taught me. Twelve years into teaching now, I've guided approximately three hundred ten students, many of them professionals who wanted French tied to real substance, not artificial classroom material. My journalism background gives me a genuinely current, well-informed perspective that shapes every single lesson, keeping content relevant rather than stale or generic. I work particularly well with students who find typical textbook material boring, since I offer something built around genuine global events and real, substantive discussion instead.
