About Granville
I'm happy to have been successful at all levels of maths teaching, Oxbridge entrance to Primary School. Tutoring for 11 years after career at a state school in Northumberland, Clifton College and QEH, Bristol, where I was Head of Maths and Deputy Head (Academic) in charge of all teaching and learning throughout the school. Online, via Zoom, so available to teach anyone, anywhere. Strong emphasis on understanding. I am determined that my students will be able to see the principles, apply them successfully for themselves and cope happily with examination-style questions. I have written my own topic sheets, containing notes and questions, which also serve as extra work if needed, and eventually as revision notes.

Granville tutored me for maths and further maths A-Level. He was a fantastic teacher; I was able to achieve A*s in both subjects and get onto a highly competitive course at Oxford thanks to his help.
Granville was extremely helpful in my a-level maths studies. He is excellent at challenging you and makes learning easier. I could go from not understanding a topic to feeling confident after one session.
