About Joe
I have a Masters degree in Chemistry.
I taught Maths in South Africa for 2 months to class sizes of 30-45 students of ages 13 - 16.
I taught English in China for 4 months to class sizes of 8-16 students of ages 4 - 14.
I tutored Chemistry to beginner students at university.
I am passionate about learning. I love to see my students succeed, and to instil in them an appreciation for each subject and the skills they can provide them for later life, as well as in academia.

I will always strive to ensure my lessons are enjoyable and interesting ,whatever the context.
For younger students, utilising games and fun activities helps them to engage and learn without even realising they're learning.
For older students, it can often mean connecting the subject content directly to life, and how they can apply it in interesting scenarios.
