About Gabriel

With a First-Class degree in Psychology and Master's degrees in Human Resources and Law, I bring over 10 years of commercial recruitment experience across APAC and EMEA.

I have worked in talent acquisition for major multinational companies including Meta, L'Oréal and Philip Morris International, hiring and assessing candidates across 25+ countries. This has given me an insider's perspective on what makes a candidate stand out — and, just as importantly, what causes an application to be overlooked.

I am now a trainee solicitor at a City law firm, having successfully made the transition from a career in recruitment into commercial law.

I combine both perspectives to help students and professionals present their experience effectively, make stronger applications and perform with confidence at interview and assessment centres.

Whether you are applying for a training contract, vacation scheme, graduate role or a competitive position in industry, I can help you turn your experience into a compelling application.

What I can help you with

Training Contract & Vacation Scheme Applications
I will help you understand what firms are actually looking for and how to build an application around your own experience, rather than relying on generic answers.

CV Optimisation
I review your CV from a recruiter's perspective and help you identify the experiences, achievements and skills that deserve greater emphasis — and how to communicate them clearly and concisely.

Application Questions & Personal Statements
We will break down the question, identify what the firm is testing and develop a clear, evidence-based answer that demonstrates your strengths and motivation.

Law Firm Strategy
Not sure which firms to target? I can help you identify firms that fit your interests and develop a realistic application strategy, including how to prioritise applications and manage deadlines.

Interviews & Assessment Centres
Drawing on my recruitment experience, I can help you prepare for competency, motivational and commercial-awareness questions, as well as assessment-centre exercises.

Career & Personal Branding
I can also help you position your experience effectively on LinkedIn and develop a professional personal brand for the legal or corporate job market.

My approach is practical and tailored. I won't simply rewrite your CV or give you a model answer. I'll help you understand why something works, so you can apply the same approach across different firms and applications.

Whether you're applying to a Magic Circle, US, international or leading UK firm, or you're trying to move into a competitive corporate role, my aim is to help you present the strongest and most authentic version of your experience.
