About Tucker
After finishing university with a degree in Spanish literature (and during which I spent time in Nicaragua and Spain), I began my career as a high school Spanish teacher. After four years, I decided to move to Spain. After three years in Madrid, I moved to New York City, and soon after started working for a Venezuelan media company. During those 8 years, I traveled to Venezuela more than 40 times. Since that job, I have worked for more than 10 different companies, where my ability to speak Spanish was extremely useful. I enjoy teaching and I work very well with people of all ages (but particularly 12-99 years old). During my travels (to the Americas and most of Europe), I have also had a lot of success teaching English.

Practice makes perfect, so we will be working on your speaking ability as we learn. This will also enhance your ability to learn new vocabulary as well as retain more as you progress. If you are currently in classes, we will start with what you're working on and then move to a more enhanced understanding of the lessons. Of course I will want to test your knowledge before our session ends! But we'll still have fun doing it. I have the experience you're looking for and the energy to help you see that learning Spanish can be very beneficial as well as fun. My lessons are aimed at beginning level Spanish students from middle school, high school as well as early bachelor's degree programs.
