About Veda
- I have held multiple junior titles (national and state-level) and have experience teaching in over 5 different schools in South Australia
- I believe Chess is a great way to improve logical reasoning and thinking and has been shown to help boost academic performance of students
- I was coached by a former Women's Grandmaster and have spent thousands of hours training and improving my chess skills in order to play competitive chess tournaments all over the country
- I am very passionate about junior chess and it is a great, fun way for students to use their brains to solve puzzles, challenges and is a great skill to have

About the lesson

All languages in which the lesson is available :

- I can teach all ages from 5 years of age up to 14 years
- I will provide basic training and strategies and work with players to complete puzzles, challenges and to practice openings and end-game strategies
- My lessons will range from 30 minutes to 60 minutes depending on the age of the student, with negotiable rates
- If students are interested in group lessons, this will be highly effective to practice with eachother and review games
- I can teach students to read and write chess notation which will assist them in completing chess puzzles independently
- I have many puzzles and resources to go through with students and to take home and complete
