Forrest Yoga is a mix of different yoga styles created by Ana Forrest that are effective in healing the body in every aspect (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual) and are safe for almost anyone and can be done at any level which are fun and challenging.
Forrest Yoga is about spirit, body wellness and emotional healing. At the beginning of each class we start with an intent for the class and a spot in the body that we want to heal. During the class we focus on our intent and breath into the our chosen area. Each class is sequenced in a way that strengthens the body without feeling sore and after always leaves me feeling ‘yoga stoned’, energised and grounded. Forrest yoga is the only yoga which I never get bored because there is always more challenges and moves energy through my body allowing healing to quicken. Also another thing I love about Forrest Yoga is the focus on breath. Connection with breath is vital for life and to be presence, yoga helped me more than anything (even breathing exercises) to connect with breath 24/7.
Overall it is fun, challenging, keeps the heart pumping, I always feel amazing after and progress in strength, flexibility and feel lighter every class!
I am a personal trainer and worked in a gym for 2 years. I left working in the gym to work on my own healing and have time for my music. Since leaving the gym, I continued to train small groups in parks and became a Reiki practitioner which helped me to heal from anorexia. I started performing live and producing my music. Just recently I became a yoga teacher and started teaching classes in Newtown. I found yoga to be the missing piece healing as it has helped me to rediscover my passion for fitness in a healthy way where people can enjoy exercise and connect to their spirit.

Worked as personal trainer at Movement and Health Solutions and Fitness First for 2 years. During this time specialised in corrective exercise and mobility helping clients move better and be pain free. Workouts focused on full body movement. During this time I also started my own daily yoga practice and have maintained it since for strength, balance and peace. I am energetic, passionate, reliable and friendly. I care about my clients/students and teach every class with passion and love.
