About Anthony
Black Belt in Aikido, and graded in Karate, Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Taekwondo, and Wing Chun. Also studied western fencing, Kendo, and Systema. I began studying martial arts at 15, but it was Aikido which held my main interest, attaining a black belt in 1989, in the Iwama Style.

I teach in the traditional way, but less formal. Mutual respect and safety in the classes are paramount. Also, my emphasis is on techniques that work rather than looking pretty. Because of my background in multiple martial arts, I can see the advantages and disadvantages of styles and try to address this.
