About Jamie
BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science. MSc Sports Sciences (Biomechanics).
6+ years of experience in an applied environment working with amateur to elite level athletes of all ages across various team and individual sports. This has included internship, mentorship, voluntary, and full-time paid positions.
Currently working within private healthcare as a Rehabilitation Specialist. I plan and deliver rehabilitation and strength/conditioning programmes for injured athletes and general populations. In addition, I perform biomechanical analysis for sport, exercise, and health.
As well as my applied experience, I have strong skills within research and academia having conducted research projects in my previous role and as part of my own dissertations. This has also enabled me to develop strong writing and presentations skills.

I base my teaching and tutoring on simplicity and structure. It's all too easy to become overwhelmed within Sports Science and to complicate subjects very quickly. Added to this, having a good understanding of the basics and how these can be applied to the 'real world' is really important whether that be in a research or applied environment.
