About Kate
I am 23 year old student living in South East London. My experience includes:
- Art & Design GCSE and A Level at grade A* (9)
- Foundation diploma degree in Art & Design at Kensington and Chelsea College
- Work in set and costume design and production in theatres
- Work in teaching art to young people with SEN (special educational needs)
- A wide range of other work experience including care work, hospitality and retail
- A huge passion and love for the subject!
What I can offer you:
1 to 1 support through exam times in order to achieve the highest possible grades
Support preparing your portfolio for exams as well as art school applications
I specialise in fine art including painting, drawing and illustrations and like to incorporate exercises to improve these abilities including portrait drawing, figure drawing and still life drawing.
I also have a background in photography and can help with this as well.
I work with a wide range of medias and I think its important to experiment and have fun! To find your niche we will work with a range of materials including lino printing, clay sculpting, marbling, oil and acrylic painting and more. If you have a wish to experiment with a new material please let me know and I can work this into our lessons with no extra fee except cost for materials (please note that the hourly charge is just for my time and any materials should either be provided by you or I can purchase for you and bring them which will be an additional charge).

I am a down-to-earth and friendly art foundation degree graduate specialising in fine art. I offer in-person or online classes (or a combination). I recommend a 1-2 hourly session every week to start with a potential increase during exam times.

My daughter was struggling to understand the A Level content as she had unfortunately missed quite a bit of school in the run-up to exam times. Kate supported her throughout the stressful exam period and enabled her to achieve a high B in her Psychology A level!
