About Marilize

I am a qualified B.Ed Foundation Phase educator and Learning Support specialist with professional experience in both inclusive government and specialized educational settings.

My work has focused on supporting learners who require structured, individualized guidance to reach their full academic potential. I specialize in developing strong foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, comprehension and executive functioning — skills that transfer across educational systems internationally.

My approach is strategic, calm and results-oriented. I combine high expectations with personalized support to ensure measurable growth in both performance and confidence.

About the lesson

I offer structured, individualized lessons tailored to each learner’s academic and emotional needs. As a qualified B.Ed educator with experience in both full-service government schools and specialized learning support environments, I understand how to bridge the gap between mainstream expectations and individual learning differences.

My approach is calm, structured and confidence-focused. I break learning into manageable steps, build foundational understanding, and gradually develop independence. I use visual supports, creative strategies, movement breaks and interest-based learning to improve focus and engagement.
Lessons are offered in English and Afrikaans.
