About Sharleze
I am a passionate Foundation Phase teacher who believes that teaching is more than a profession—it is a calling. My purpose goes beyond simply delivering lessons; I strive to shape confident, capable young learners who are equipped with the skills they need for real life. I am deeply committed to nurturing each child’s potential, helping them build strong foundations not only academically, but also in critical thinking, problem-solving, and independence. Teaching allows me to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives, and I am driven by the desire to inspire a lifelong love of learning while preparing them for the world beyond the classroom.

I offer a unique, child-centred approach to learning where lessons are brought to life through storytelling mostly. I believe that young learners understand concepts best when they can connect them to real-life situations, especially in Mathematics, where abstract ideas can often feel overwhelming. By weaving stories into most lessons and using engaging, practical examples, I help learners build confidence, deepen their understanding, and develop a genuine love for learning. My goal is not only to teach content, but to ensure every child feels supported, capable, and excited to learn.
