About Danika
I am 25 years old. Teaching was and is still a big passion of mine. I am currently still enrolled in working at Pioneer School for the Blind in Worcester, Western Cape. Before I started working I did my Practical at many mainstream schools in and around Worcester, so I know how a normal day-to-day classroom program runs and what it implies to what a teacher must be able to teach and more. I want to try online teaching to see how this form of teaching is so I can help more children in and around South Africa. I have a wide knowledge of the South African school CAPS.

I currently work at a Special Education School for learners with visual impairments. My lessons are structured, but fun-based. I am a Home Language Afrikaans teacher but had to do multi-lingual classroom teaching for 3 years now so I can teach English Home Language as well. I prefer to incorporate all 5 senses as much as possible in all my lessons and also to integrate with other subjects like combining Life Skills with Mathematics or Home language when doing listening and speaking or reading.
