About Chané
I am a teacher in the making. I haven’t tutored before but have experience working with children as I already had to go teach at a school for studies (practicals). I also did a year of missionary work where I educated learners from 3 years old to grade 12 from different cultures. I have an absolute passion for working with children. I believe any child can move mountains; some of them just need more motivation than others, and I would love to be that motivator. I am always trying out new learner and teaching methods and will be able to adapt to any learner's ability to learn. I am also doing guidance counseling, which is a big help with the learning methods. I look forward to working with lots and lots of children!

I base my classes on content, but also on what the child’s needs are. My teaching method is mainly inquiry-based, which means that I am only a facilitator in the class. I give the necessary help where needed, but the lesson is based on the child learning for themselves and teaching each other. Inquiry-based learning allows for exploring, experimenting, and having fun while learning. I teach in such a way that it makes the learners inquisitive to learn more from their own experiences.
