About Lucy
I am a fourth year undergraduate student at the University of Bristol, where I study French and German BA. Currently working at a high 2:1 and obtaining a C1 level in both languages, I am able to proficiently express myself orally, as well as having a high level of understanding (verbal and written) and writing. I have just completed my year abroad, during which I worked in a translation company in Berlin and as an Assistant of Education and Recruitment in Toulouse, France. Doing so has allowed me to improve greatly and has motivated me to share my language skills with others.
For English tutoring, I would also like to add that I obtained an A in A level English Literature and Language, and have taught English both in UK schools and abroad.

Despite lacking tutoring experience, I do have a lot of experience working with children and, also, in language teaching. Whilst working in France, I taught English to French children with the 'immersion' technique. I taught them through songs, games, art, puzzles and many more. I believe that the key to language learning is through immersion in the language, whilst also keeping in check with the curricular demands.
