About Ashleigh
As someone with a neurodivergent brain, I understand the academic challenges and adversities that can arise from viewing the world with such a unique perspective. I hope to help you recognize your strengths and learn to apply them, both specifically and broadly. This process begins by fostering a safe and consistent learning environment that is driven by the learner's abilities, strengths, and goals. I aim to provide a judgment-free learning environment where mistakes are encouraged and patience is guaranteed. As a dedicated lifelong learner, I am not afraid to admit my limits and seek out additional resources when they are available. I hope to help you learn how to seek out and utilize appropriate resources that will aid you in this subject and beyond!

- I aim to foster a judgement free and dynamic learning environment where all questions and concerns are welcome. I am personally a strong visual learner. For me, this is creating visual aids (outlines, charts, tables) that organize and break down large amounts of information into digestible bits. However, the best way to truly improve is to practice. This means a lot of practice applying the concepts we are learning, which looks different for variable subjects and will be addressed individually.
- Lesson plans are established based on individual goals, circumstances, and needs. Lesson plans are always dynamic and flexible and are based on subjective and objective progress in course content.
-Subjects and interests: math (algebra, precalculus), general chemistry, biology, cell and molecular biology, microbiology, physiology, pathophysiology, anatomy, creative writing, technical writing, personal statements, essays
-Non-traditional students, high school students, undergraduate students, postgraduate students, pre-med students, STEM students
