About Thomas

I am a University student who has just finished a year in industry working with Cummins as a mechanical design engineer in the Battery Electric Vehicle business.
I have A Levels in Maths, Physics and Product Design, achieving an A in all 3 subjects. I have also completed all maths modules for my course, receiving a First.

I am also a very keen F1 fan, and I really enjoy climbing and cricket.

Teaching is a very rewarding job, my Mum teaches young children and loves her job. I love supporting people's learning and always try to offer help when I can.

About the lesson

Lessons can be structured to suit you best, whether from resources you provide such as homework or extra textbook questions or something I prepare based on what you'd like to cover. I like to break down questions starting with the information we have, and the information we need to try and get to the answer.

Lessons are 1 hour long and aimed at secondary school level and GCSE students.

Perfect! Thomas is a amazing tutor he is very patient and talked me through every single stage of the equations I needed to do he set me home work and even wrote me a sheet with everything broken down for my ease I would really recocomend thomas as a tutor to anyone

Ed's lesson was a really great starting point for us. We covered the fundamentals of what was asked, and next time we will start applying the knowledge.

What was great was that Ed kept asking me questions about the calculations we were doing and if we could go slower or try a different approach. Essentially, he was actively trying to find the best way for him to be able to learn to maximise the outcomes of the lesson.
