About Andrea

I have been tutoring university students for years and I work as a tutor for a university course.

I believe that there are no students who are not good at science subjects, only ineffective study methods, and that a good study method and a "mathematical" approach to problems are a very useful resource in a variety of different fields.

About the lesson

For high school and college students struggling to pass exams, prepare for placement tests, or who want to be guided through a longer process.
The first 4 lessons are free and without commitment so we can decide if we can work well together.

EXAMS AND ENTRANCE TESTS: in the first lesson we discuss the main gaps and deadlines to be met.
We start by addressing the topics that offer the best result / time ratio with targeted exercises (and explained) and explanation of the topic.
We agree in advance on the lesson to be addressed to make the best use of the time available.
This approach aims to bring a student to pass an exam or entrance test quickly and without the expectation of a 100% understanding of the subject.

REPETITIONS: In the first lesson we decide what are the long-term goals and the main gaps.
We decide on an outline and a program (which can follow the program of one or more exams).
Lessons are held by agreeing on the material in advance to make the best use of time, solving previously assigned exercises and discussing the topics in detail with the aim of understanding them thoroughly.

This approach aims not only to understand a certain topic or solve a certain exercise, but to learn how to study and convince oneself that even the most abstract concepts can be related to simple ideas and be thoroughly understood.
For intuition of more complex concepts I use visualization and visual reasoning tools extensively.

PRESENTATIONS AND LABORATORY REPORTS: I can help you in the preparation of presentations (conceptual outline, slides, animations, discursive part) and laboratory reports for experimental courses.

Perfect! È un tutor davvero molto paziente e tanto disponibile. Per far comprendere a pieno un argomento usa un approccio che mira a rendere quest'ultimo più semplice da comprendere, specialmente per i concetti più astratti riesce a dare un'idea concreta. Le lezioni con Andrea sono molto efficienti, inoltre riesce a trasmettere la curiosità delle materie prese in analisi, il che rende le lezioni molto più accattivanti. Se si ha bisogno di comprendere a pieno un argomento o persino di conoscerne e capirne di nuovi, Andrea è il tutor che si sta cercando.

Ho apprezzato anche il fatto che si concentri sul significato fisico di concetti matematici che altrimenti potrebbero sembrare astrusi, ma che con le sue spiegazioni diventano facilmente applicabili. Grazie al suo aiuto ho superato l’esame di Analisi 2 recuperando una buona parte del programma che avevo tralasciato. Consigliato vivamente.
