About Emmy
I’m a 21-year-old engineering student currently taking a gap year between my fourth and final year of engineering school. Over the past two years, I have tutored several high school students in Math and really enjoyed helping them improve and gain confidence in the subject. Math has always been my favorite subject, and I take pride in making it clear and enjoyable for my students. I also offer French lessons, using engaging methods such as games and interactive exercises to make learning fun and effective. Currently, I am working as an Au Pair in Newcastle, taking care of a 17-month-old three days a week, which has strengthened my patience and adaptability.

Hi, I’m Emmy! I aim to make learning Math and French clear, enjoyable, and tailored to each student. Lesson Length: Minimum 1h30, up to 2h I adapt the pace to each student and prepare lessons in advance, customizing them to their needs. I focus on what works best for the student: I explain concepts, give examples, set exercises, and let the student try first before helping. I welcome feedback from students to improve lessons and support them in the best way possible. About Me: I’m a 21-year-old engineering student in France, having completed two years of intensive preparatory classes (CPGE) in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry before joining a selective French engineering school. I have experience tutoring high school students in Math (2+ hours per week during 2024-2025), and I’m also a native French speaker offering French lessons for all levels. I’m patient, approachable, and enjoy helping students succeed!
