About Kristyn
I have a degree in French and have been teaching and tutoring for 10 plus years. I have worked with people of all ages from many different backgrounds and cultures. I have also developed French teaching curricula as well as helped launch a successful foreign language learning software called Rosetta Stone.

My classes are taught in French to avoid the extra step of translating which slows down the language learning process. I start with the basics and build upon them incorporating interactive activities to develop all four aspects of language: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
I am also able to cater the lessons to each individual’s needs depending on what they would like to gain from the lessons. For example if someone is a strong reader and writer and would just like help with speaking and listening, I would adjust the lessons to make them more conversational.
In general I try to make the classes fun and non-judgmental to make the student feel comfortable and motivated.
