About Niamh
I am a native English speaker who learnt French exclusively through the UK state curriculum from beginner, through GCSE, A-Level and eventually BA before moving to Paris to teach English in French schools through the British Council. As such I understand how challenging it can be to learning a foreign language through the UK school system! Personally, I really struggled to get to grips with the language until I had a wonderful A-Level teacher who finally helped break through and make sense of it all. As such I am excited to carry on that journey and encourage other students to see the value of learning another language.

Individualised learning methodology, catering to different needs and abilities depending on the student. I offer 1 hour lessons suitable for anyone ranging from beginner (A1) to Advanced (B2) including GCSE and A-Level specific lessons. 1 year of previous experience as a language tutor (both private and in-school) BA French and English from University of Nottingham (2:1 with distinction in spoken French) 1 year of experience teaching professionally in France as an English Language teacher in the Académie de Créteil.
