About Emma
I am a native French speaker from France and I hold the French Baccalaureate, which gave me a solid academic background and strong communication skills. I am currently living in Australia as an au pair, an experience that has helped me become more independent, responsible, and adaptable in an international environment. As an au pair, I work daily with children, which has strengthened my patience, creativity, and ability to explain things clearly. This experience is very valuable for teaching, as I am used to adapting my language and methods to different ages and learning styles. I understand how important it is to create a positive, encouraging atmosphere where learners feel confident to try and make progress. Being French, I can offer authentic language learning, including correct pronunciation, everyday expressions, and cultural insights. I enjoy sharing not only the French language but also French culture, traditions, and way of life. My goal is to make learning French enjoyable, practical, and motivating, whether for beginners or more advanced learners. Living in Australia has also allowed me to improve my English and better understand Australian culture, which helps me connect easily with Australian students. I would be highly motivated to teach French and to help learners gain confidence and enthusiasm for the language.
