About Olivia
I am a grade 11 french-immersion student. I have been learning and developing my french skills for 11 years. I achieved the highest marks in my class in both grades 9 and 10 and my overall average is 98%. I volunteer as a Peer Tutor within my school, but I am excited to be able to expand my impact beyond my school community.

My first step when meeting a student is getting to know their background and learning more about their personal learning style. This allows me to tailor my future lessons to their specific strengths and needs. I teach by explaining concepts in-depth, and being available for my students outside of our allotted meeting time. When teaching a language, I understand that it is essential to cover all bases of the language. When I tutor in French, (with adjustments to each student's individual level) I conduct the lessons in French to develop oral communication skills. I also cover vocabulary and grammar improvement, listening skills, and reading skills.
