About Amelia
Hi !
I am a 23 year old french citizen, over in Vancouver on a 2 year working holiday visa. I just arrived and looking for a position in a french immersion elementary school. I discovered this carrer path last year in Atlanta, USA. I am very passionnate about sharing my language and culture with english speakers.
I also love playing soccer, hinking, scuba diving and skiing !

I have been tutoring english back at home for different age range, between 10 and 15 years old. And during my study abroad in Australia in 2013 I loved tutoring in french, with games and activities, anything to make french fun and enjoyable !
I also tutored last year while i was teaching at a french immersion school, an 8 years old, 10 years old and 13 !
I have a linguistics degree with education as a minor and a french youth work diploma that I have used to work in summer camps and after school care.
I like making my tutoring sessions a fun and appreciable moment, i can come with activities and I am flexible if they are not working. I can also work on homework or grammar points.
I like to keep my sessions only in french if possible, I really believe strongly in the whole french immersion bubble we can create.
I would also love to just chat with adults/older tutoree in french about any topic, to use and improve in a relaxing way your french skills.
