About Lucille
I am a PhD student in AI for healthcare at Imperial College London. I am from Paris and I’m a native French speaker. I have lived in London for over 5 years but I also previously lived in Taiwan when I was younger and in Zürich for my studies. I can also speak Spanish and I am learning German as well. I believe that the key aspect in a tutoring class is to have a personalized approach. I make sure to first discuss how my student usually learn best to ensure the class is efficient. I am also very adaptable to different situations and learning contexts. I have myself taken tutoring classes before and know how helpful it can be, especially in becoming more confident in speaking it. The session can be built around informal chats or more formal discussions depending on the student’s goals. I also believe games can be useful in learning and also make the experience more fun, especially for younger students who can have difficulties in staying focus for a longer time.
