About Addison
Young hobbyists and kids often start by wondering how these languages actually sound in conversation. I spent my early years completing a BA in French Studies and a BA in Spanish at Monash University.
Teaching these languages for 12 years has allowed me to guide students toward 45 plus study scores and Band 6 marks. Helping absolute beginners navigate verb conjugation and pronunciation requires a specific type of patience. My background includes preparing learners for DELE exams while emphasizing the differences between Latin American and Castilian variants. I enjoy showing people how travel Spanish opens doors to new cultures.
Building a vocabulary feels much more manageable when you have a clear roadmap. Watching students gain confidence in their reading comprehension remains a highlight of my work. It creates a bridge between Australian and Latin American cultural identities. Sometimes I wonder if it just happens naturally.
