About Edie
I have been tutoring French since I graduated in 2024 and have really enjoyed working with different students and helping them better navigate the language. I intend to obtain a diploma in French and am very passionate about studying it in university. I find that teaching others the language is very rewarding just because I know how difficult it can be to not only understand the concepts of the language, but also use them in practice.

I am able to help with any areas of the language including speaking, reading, writing, grammar, and listening. In sessions, I often start by giving context and explanations to grammatical concepts and then I move on to doing worked examples together to solidify understanding. When working on speaking, I can help with both pronunciation and fluency, prompting students with questions and getting them to reply. I also often help students with homework or preparing for assessments so would be happy to shape sessions to the needs of every student!
