About Lila
I’m a friendly, patient, and passionate French tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine love for teaching—especially when it comes to working with younger learners. I studied French through the International Baccalaureate program, completed several college-level courses, and spent a year living in France through study abroad and exchanges. This mix of formal education and real-life experience gives me a well-rounded approach to language teaching. I strive to make my lessons encouraging and approachable for everyone, whether you're a child learning your first few words or an adult brushing up your skills. My French lessons are interactive, supportive, and personalized to each student’s needs—whether you're a total beginner, prepping for an exam, or just want to speak more confidently. I use a mix of grammar practice, vocabulary games, conversation, and cultural insights to make learning both effective and enjoyable. I especially love working with younger students and always aim to keep lessons fun, engaging, and age-appropriate. A typical session includes warm-ups, guided activities, speaking practice, and plenty of encouragement. I studied French in the IB program, am pursuing a French minor, and spent a year living in France through study abroad and exchange programs. I teach learners of all ages and levels, but I bring extra energy and creativity when working with kids.
