About Leah
For nearly a decade, I’ve been teaching French with a passion for both the language and its culture. My approach combines clear linguistic instruction with immersive cultural experiences, helping students feel not only competent but also confident in their French-speaking abilities. I strongly believe that language learning is most effective when students engage with it beyond just vocabulary and grammar. My goal is for students to connect with French culture — through its music, films, literature, and history — which I believe is essential for understanding the true spirit of the language. Outside the classroom, I stay deeply involved in francophone communities and continue my personal exploration of French culture, ensuring that my teaching remains dynamic and relevant. These cultural connections enrich my lessons and provide students with real-world context to better understand the language.
