About Arabel

I am a year 12 at MLC currently completing VCE French units 3 & 4 and have completed units 1 & 2 as well as Certificate II in Applied Language (French).

I have been learning and speaking French for 12 years and attended Camberwell Primary School which follows a french immersion program. I have a flexible way of tutoring that is catered to the individual.

About the lesson

I know how frustrating it is when a class moves on before you have properly understood something. My approach is simple: there is no such thing as asking too many questions, and I am happy to explain a concept ten different ways or a million times until it finally clicks. I want students to feel completely comfortable saying, “I still don’t understand,” without feeling embarrassed or rushed.

Immersion is key. So during lessons, on-the-spot oral practice is my specialty. I can also supply French videos, comprehension tasks and grammar drills specific to the student's needs to really solidify those tricky parts of the language!

I tutor primary school to year 7 students. Lesson length is up to student's preference! (30 min - 90 min)
