About Kate
Hi, my name is Kate! I am a psychology student studying in the Netherlands, and I'm passionate about teaching and education. There's nothing I love more than helping my students progress and reach their full potential! I've worked with young students in the past, working as a teaching assistant in a primary school, providing tutoring sessions for middle-school students, and also providing science workshops for young children. I also help my friends who are struggling with their classes and homework (which, oddly enough, is quite similar to a full-time job!) I provide French lessons for students of all levels (A2-C2) and all ages. As a fluent speaker who has grown up in France, my lessons go beyond teaching vocabulary and grammar. Instead, I embed culture into my lessons. What better way to strengthen your language skills by reading the daily news, ordering from a restaurant, or even talking about your favorite show? (adapted to age and interests, of course!) I believe learning a language is as much about the syntax, vocabulary, and conjugation as it is about immersing yourself in culture. I hope that through my lessons, you would be able to communicate in French in a way that people can actually understand and connect to (not like the useless sentences workbooks make you learn!)
