About Marco

Hello everyone!
I am Marco, I am 26 years and I currently live in Manchester.
I am originally from a very small town close to Parma in the Centre-North of Italy.

I am fluent in Italian, English and Spanish and I have a good level of French, Portuguese and Esperanto.
Do you know Esperanto? :)

I have a BA degree in 'Languages and in teaching Italian as Foreign language' as well as a Master Degree in 'Marketing and Communication' and 2+ years of teaching experience.

*In High school I thought that you couldn't learn languages because I have always been at the bottom group of my class!
But I always loved languages and I challenged myself: I went to Uni, studied abroad, learn new techniques and now I am here to help you :)

About the lesson

- Relaxing environment - Have fun - Make Mistakes - Italian from day 1 -
My teaching style & lessons vary a lot depending on the requirements of the student.

I like to have conversation on anything you are passionate about!
We can have informal conversations, discuss articles, review TV Series, create situational dialogues etc.

I like to explore the language at 360° playing games, explore the Italian Culture, listen to song, watching video etc.

*If you are a complete beginner no worries!
I will expose you to the language and to comprehensible input from day! You'll be ACTIVE and Acquire!
We will focus on 'Understanding the message' first, instead of starting with grammar structure and syntaxes!
We will create stories together, describe pictures, have basic conversations, watch videos etc.

* And of course, I'm available anytime for any questions or doubts you may have :)
