About Elena
I am an undergraduate student with a CAE - C1 (Advanced English - grade A) and a Diploma in Graphics and Communication. I've been enjoying giving private lessons (to both individual and small groups) since high school (English, Maths, Science, Italian Literature and History) and I volunteered to tutor kids of a primary school for an afterschool programme. These experiences have helped me develop and improve skills and techniques to engage my students and interact with them.
I moved to the UK in September 2018 to work as an au pair (of four aged 2, 8, 12, 14) until December 2019.
Among some other experiences, I have always been enthusiastic about taking part in many other initiatives, such as being an entertainer at summer camps, helping in the family business and volunteering to train guide dogs.

My teaching method is tailored to suit every student. We are all different, then why should the learning method be the same for everyone?
My work aims to improve the student's skills, as well as to gradually allow them to develop their own learning method and become independent over time.
The classes are based on the needs of each student, setting a goal and agreeing upon a certain amount of time to achieve it. The common trait is to make every lesson productive and possibly fun and lightweight. Motivation and knowing how to stimulate the mind are the key to the achievement of every goal.
