About Jonathan
Hi, I recently graduated from the University of Durham with a Masters in Mathematics Degree. I have been tutoring full time for well over a year and have lots of experience fostering productive relationships with new students. After the recent disruptions to education I hope to help students gain more confidence in maths and physics so they are better able to reach their potential.

I run tailored sessions that focus on areas that you or your child need assistance on. Every person learns differently so it is important to make sure to find a style of learning that suits them. I think knowledge retention is crucial for improving so I like to begin sessions with a brief recap of previous ideas we have covered or perhaps areas covered recently in school. With mathematics and physics I also think applying knowledge to questions is an important tool for learning so I like to devote some of the session to practice questions. I am always happy to leave extra questions to have a go at after the session.
