I am a dedicated and experienced primary school teacher with over a decade of teaching experience across Years 1 to 6. Throughout my career, I have worked with a wide range of learners, helping children of all abilities build confidence, develop key skills, and achieve their full potential. I pride myself on creating a calm, supportive, and engaging learning environment where children feel safe to take risks and enjoy learning. A typical lesson begins with a short, friendly check-in and a recap of previous learning to build confidence and continuity. I then introduce a clear objective tailored to your child’s needs, whether that’s improving reading comprehension, developing writing skills, or strengthening key maths concepts. Lessons are interactive and engaging, using a mix of discussion, guided practice, and independent tasks. I adapt my teaching in real time to ensure your child feels supported and challenged at the right level. Each session ends with a review of progress and clear next steps, helping parents stay informed and children feel motivated and proud of their achievements.
