About Kattleya
I’m a native Chinese speaker with a strong passion for languages and communication. I enjoy helping people understand not just the Chinese language, but also how it’s actually used in daily life. Over time, I’ve realised that teaching allows me to share my culture while also connecting with people from different backgrounds.

Hi!
I’m a Chinese tutor offering personalised Mandarin lessons for beginners and intermediate learners. Whether you’re learning Chinese for travel, work, school, or personal interest, I aim to make learning Chinese practical, clear, and enjoyable.
My lessons focus on real-life conversations, correct pronunciation (pinyin and tones), and understanding Chinese culture—not just memorising textbooks. Every lesson is adjusted to your goals and learning pace, so you can feel comfortable and confident as you improve.
What I offer:
One-on-one online lessons
Beginner-friendly explanations
Speaking and listening practice
A patient and encouraging teaching style
If Chinese feels overwhelming or confusing, don’t worry! You’re not alone. With the right guidance and consistent practice, it becomes much more approachable
