About Swanand
Hi there! I'm an enthusiastic maths tutor with a year of tutoring experience. I'm currently studying maths with statistics at Imperial College London. I would love to support you with GCSE/A Level maths and further maths, as well as OCR Additional Maths FSMQ.
I recently achieved 4 A*s at A level (Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry) and 11 Grade 9s at GCSE, including Maths, Further Maths, Statistics and Additional Maths. Having been through these exams recently, I know how to support students with the challenges they may be facing in maths.
As a tutor passionate about all things maths and science, I want to help students build confidence, enjoy maths more, and achieve their full potential in exams!

My lessons are aimed at students from Year 5 up to Year 13 (ages 10–18), whether you’re preparing for 11+, GCSEs, A-Levels, or simply looking to boost your confidence in maths. Lessons are flexible and usually last around an hour.
I have run one-to-one sessions with a Year 12 student and also taken part in my school’s mentoring scheme, supporting younger pupils with homework and new topics. My students tell me that they value my clear explanations and step-by-step approach to tackling complex questions.
For online lessons, I use Microsoft OneNote as an interactive whiteboard, along with other digital tools, to explain concepts clearly and make learning engaging.
