About Cleo
I am a French/English bilingual graduate with an upper class degree from the Courtauld Institute of Art, international exposure and extensive home schooling, tutoring and mentoring experience, including residential positions in London, Hong-Kong, Dubai, Switzerland and the Bahamas.
My aim as a tutor is to impart, nurture and grow a passion for learning and the desire to strive for excellence. I believe that, no matter the age, those are the two keys to building a well-rounded, successful and independent person.
I practice both creative discipline inside the classroom and taking the subject outside the classroom to show how school lessons relate to the real world. I enjoy taking my students on cultural trips and providing sensible educational and career advice where needed.
Focused, well presented and impeccably mannered during teaching sessions, I also love a good laugh and lead a rich and active life-style filled with lots of sport, and the pursuit of my own further education during spare time via targeted reading and online courses. My latest: "learning how to learn", involved the science and neuroscience behind learning strategies.
I really look forward to helping you/your child unlock potential, enjoy learning and ace exams.
