About Xuyu
Hello! I am Xuyu, a native Chinese speaker from Singapore, and I am currently traveling the world as a full-time backpacker. Along the way, I have been meeting people from different backgrounds and learning about new cultures, which has made me appreciate how powerful language can be in connecting people.
I am also learning new languages myself, so I truly understand what it feels like to be a learner. Because of this, I want to help others learn Chinese in a friendly, relaxed, and practical way. I know many people are interested in learning Chinese for daily conversation, travel, or personal growth, and I would love to support you on that journey.

As a native Chinese speaker, I offer friendly and relaxed lessons for beginners who want to learn how to speak Chinese in real life. My teaching style is easy-going and supportive, because I believe people learn and remember better when they are relaxed. Lessons focus on daily conversation, pronunciation, useful vocabulary, and expressions commonly used in Chinese culture. Each lesson lasts around 45 minutes to 1 hour. My classes are ideal for anyone who wants to build confidence in speaking Chinese in a natural and enjoyable way.
