My lessons are results-focused, with a strong emphasis on helping students improve their exam performance.
I’ll first assess the student’s current performance, strengths, weaknesses and common mistakes to understand exactly where marks are being lost. From there, we’ll build a targeted approach to improve both subject knowledge and exam technique.
A key part of my tutoring is teaching students how to maximise the marks they can earn in an exam, including understanding question patterns, identifying what examiners are looking for, showing working effectively, managing time, prioritising questions, and avoiding common mistakes that cost easy marks.
Rather than simply working through a textbook, I want each lesson to have a clear purpose: identify the problem → understand the concept → practise the skill → improve exam technique → gain marks.
