About Rae
I am an experienced Business Studies teacher with almost 15 years of teaching across both the UK and international education sectors. Throughout my career, I have taught in both state and private schools, delivering GCSE and A Level Business Studies across a range of examination specifications. This breadth of experience has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of curriculum requirements and effective exam preparation strategies.
What motivates me most about teaching is seeing students grow in both understanding and confidence. I find it particularly rewarding when a student reaches the point where they not only understand the subject content but also develop the skills and strategies needed to approach exam questions effectively. Supporting students in building this confidence and helping them realise their potential is what continues to inspire my work as a teacher.

I am a friendly and approachable teacher who believes that building a strong, positive relationship with each student is key to effective learning. By taking the time to understand how a student thinks and learns best, I tailor my approach to suit their individual needs and help them build both confidence and independence in their studies.
My sessions make use of a wide range of resources to keep learning engaging and effective. I incorporate interactive activities and fun learning games to help consolidate knowledge and ensure that key concepts are understood and retained. Alongside this, I use comprehensive exam-style questions to develop exam technique and deepen understanding, with active learning at the centre of each session so that students are fully involved in the learning process.
My aim is to create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, challenging themselves, and making meaningful progress
