About Clara Maria
I am a first year student doing Physics and Philosophy at the University of Oxford.
I have experience in private Maths and Physics tutoring with middle school children.
I have thought Mathematics classes during summer camps for younger highschool students.
I have won several national awards in high school contests in Mathematics and Astrophysics. I was awarded a silver medal in the European Girls Mathematical Olympiad.

I believe that structure is important, so initially I like discussing the student's goals for a certain period. After establishing the most important points of the lessons and noting the main areas which the student would like to improve, I will make a long-term plan of what we need to cover. An ideal lesson will begin with a discussion about the homework (especially the parts that the student had difficulties with), covering the theoretical aspects of the next topic, solving a few examples together. Depending on the student's preferences we can adjust the plan and the lesson structure.
