About Sheila
I pride myself on my lifelong love of learning and teaching. Some say my enthusiasm to get the best out of pupils is boundless! As well as being a private piano teacher for years (up to Grade 7) I also enjoy the challenges of teaching pupils especially in English, Maths and Music. Being an SEN coordinator for two large primaries has enabled me to advise on the best provision for children with special needs. I sing well. Being a mum and a great parent is also an asset. I have attended parenting classes and feel that I am very confident when parenting children. I would welcome helping anyone with these skills I have honed over a lifetime! Sharing an ability to read and write well, especially for children in the primary years, is paramount and I consider myself an expert in this field of teaching.
