About Hannah

As well as tutoring early primary school (year 7-8) pupils, I have worked in a primary school supporting young people with SEN. I therefore have experience adapting the syllabus and developing creative learning techniques to support young people who may struggle learning in the more traditional style.

My primary background is mental health, and I have worked in Children & Adolescent Mental Health services after completing my degree. This experience has demonstrated how under pressure young pole feel. My secondary background is teaching and tutoring, having done this since I was 16. Combining my passions I endeavour to make learning an enjoyable experience, reducing the stress felt by pupils. I understand when to push students to keep working and when to consolidate their learning in order not to overwhelm them; I work hard to get the most out my pupils.

This is the second time I have employed Hannah and I am very pleased with the way she manages her students. She has a very good relationship with them and uses her knowledge and skills very effectively. She is an effective communicator with colleagues and the students she works with. She has a friendly but professional relationship with everyone. At the moment she teachers students on a 1:1 basis preparing them for their bar/bat mitzvah. She has in the past taught a class of students as well and has always produced work to a high standard.

I have no hesitation to recommend her to you.
