About Sakshi
I am a passionate Art Tutor specializing in Oil Painting and Soft Pastels, with a strong focus on realistic expressionism, portrait art and Indian Traditional Art-forms.
My approach to teaching is calm, structured, and encouraging, using a step-by-step, individual-focused methodology that helps students build confidence from the fundamentals while developing their own artistic expression.
With formal art education and 6 years of hands-on studio experience, I guide learners through techniques such as drawing accuracy, proportions, color mixing, tonal values, and expressive detailing.
I teach students of all age groups, especially beginners and hobby artists, offering personalized 1 to 2 hour sessions tailored to each student’s pace and creative goals. My aim is to make learning art enjoyable, accessible, and deeply fulfilling.

My teaching focuses on Oil Paint on Canvas, Soft Pastels, Charcoal or Pencil Shading with an emphasis on realistic expressionism, especially Portrait Art, Traditional Indian Painting Styles and Landscape Sceneries, using a clear step-by-step methodology that builds strong foundations in drawing accuracy, proportions, facial anatomy, light, shadow, tonal values, color mixing, layering, blending, glazing, and texturing.
Lessons are individual-focused and flexible, adapting to each student’s pace, interests, and learning style, making them ideal for beginners and hobby learners, while still encouraging personal artistic expression.
Sessions will typically last 1 to 2 hours and can be personalized based on age, experience, and goals.
I bring formal art education combined with practical studio and teaching experience, guiding students in a patient and structured manner.
These lessons are suitable for all age groups, from complete beginners to hobby artists, with no prior experience required—only a genuine interest in learning and creating art.
