I always pride myself on confidentiality, honesty, and helping students work toward independence in math.
I’ve taught in Baltimore City Public Schools for 14 years between grades 1-8.
I enjoy working with students one on one so they can fully work through problems with someone there every step of the way.

Math doesn’t have to be scary. It just needs the right guide.
Most kids who say “I hate math” don’t actually hate math. They hate the feeling of being lost, rushed, or behind. I’ve loved math my whole life, and I can show your child what I see: it’s a puzzle, a pattern, a game with satisfying “aha!” moments.
When you work with me, your child will:
Feel understood. I go at your child’s pace and explain things different ways until it clicks.
Build real confidence. Mistakes are part of the process here, and every win gets celebrated.
Understand the “why.” Memorizing tricks only goes so far. Kids who understand the reasoning carry it into every grade after.
Actually enjoy it. Expect puzzles, games, and real-world problems alongside the practice.
