About Juana
I am an Italian girl, I have been tutoring since I was 17 and now I am 25.
I am a University student who comes from Italy, and I live in Adelaide.
I have completed my Bachelor of Arts in languages (English and French), hoping to become a language teacher after my studies. This year I am studying a Master degree in Teaching (Secondary).
Back in Italy I mainly used to tutor children, and teenagers after school, my work was to mainly help them with their homework and/or their presentations.
I am an Italian language teacher at the Dante Alighieri Society, I am currently following the A1 level students, after following the B2 class last year. I also work for the WEA Adult Learning, I am currently following level 1 and the Italian Fun and Travel classes. I really love my job, I love interacting with people and supporting them along the way to achieve their goals.

Learning can be turned into fun with the right tools and at the right pace.
My main goal will be to prepare and support my student to achieve their goal of learning this incredible language, or improve it.
The italian language is considered one of the most difficult languages to learn, but everything is possible.
Being a Native speaker will allow me to follow you or guide you throughout the journey of learning this beautiful language, and together we can shape the way to achieve your goal. I am thrilled and ready to make everyone, who wants to learn, a fluent Italian language speaker. As long as we both are willing to put in effort, as this is not a one-person job, yes, it is my responsibility to teach you and to help you succeed, as long as YOU are willing to learn and to put in as much effort as you can.
Everyone is different and has different ways of learning things, I am the very first to agree and confirm this statement. Being dyslexic my studies were a big challenge for me. I had to look for alternative tools to support my studies and understanding of other languages, thanks to the support of amazing tutors I was able to find alternative ways, new strategies to support myself and successfully complete my studies. This experience allowed me to develop a wider understanding about ways of doing things and how important it is to not give up when things get challenging. With me as a tutor I PROMISE I will do everything in my power to support your understanding and guarantee your success.
To everyone have a wonderful, lovely day.
Arrivederci e a presto.
