About Alexa
For the last seven years, I've dedicated myself to helping students unlock their potential in mathematics. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education, but my real passion comes from demystifying numbers and making them accessible to everyone. My teaching philosophy is simple: with patience, encouragement, and a personalized approach, any student can excel. I was incredibly honored to be named "Tutor of the Year" in 2022 by a local educational foundation, an award that recognized my commitment to student growth. Hello! In my one-on-one online lessons, my primary goal is to transform math from a subject of stress into one of success. I design every session to be a supportive space where we can tackle anything from Algebra and Geometry to Trigonometry and Pre-Calculus, moving at a pace that is perfect for you. I use a digital whiteboard to work through problems together in real-time, just as if we were in the same room. I don't just teach you formulas; I show you the "why" behind them using practical, real-world examples. My focus is on building your foundational skills and critical thinking, so you'll not only be prepared for your next exam but for all future challenges.
